Bookings and walk-ins, one queue
Anonymous walk-ins join the same line as booked customers, so the board reflects the room rather than only the diary.
For salons, clinics and workshops
One appointment runs twenty minutes long and every booking behind it is wrong. Qjolly moves the queue instead of leaving your front desk to explain it.
Running the day
Not the happy path. The Tuesday where two staff are out, a walk-in arrives mid-colour and someone wants to move to Thursday.
Anonymous walk-ins join the same line as booked customers, so the board reflects the room rather than only the diary.
Transfer an appointment to whoever is free. The customer is told; the history follows the booking rather than the person.
A moved appointment stays one conversation instead of becoming a new booking and an orphaned old one.
Requests you never answer expire on their own, so a forgotten notification does not hold a slot hostage all afternoon.
Lunch, training, a late start. Blocked time takes itself out of what customers can book.
Customers scan on arrival. The queue knows they are in the room without anyone asking.
Filling the gaps
Put a discount on a quiet window and let it find customers who are already looking nearby.
Reviews are tied to visits that actually happened, scored on service and on timekeeping separately — so being punctual is visible, not just being good.
What was booked, what was completed, what was rejected and what never showed — per staff member, over a window you choose.
Where this is going
Qjolly runs today on a Flutter app and a Firebase backend, and it is mid-way through a rebuild — a typed contract between the apps and the server, and web surfaces that a search engine can actually read. This page is part of that work.
